3D Artist Intern (Environment/Vehicle)

TASKS
• Model in-game assets based on concepts, 3D mock-ups and art direction specifications
• Create hard surface or organic environment models and texturing
• Uphold the art direction defined by the Art Director
• Conform to the production pipelines, conventions and processes, and memory constraints as defined by the team lead environment artist and technical artists
• Help define & maintain the art style of games
• Identify and solve development issues both aesthetically and technically

REQUIREMENTS
• Current student
• Required knowledge: 3ds Max / Substance
• Asset: Maya / Unreal Engine / Photoshop / ZBrush
• Experience in modeling and texturing environments, props, or characters
• Rendering and real time shader development awareness
• Perfect understanding of composition, color, value and form as it relates to both classic art for and gameplay visuals
• Understand 3D pipeline and process as it relates to game development
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Passion for video games and game development technologies
